Debbie was born and raised in Illinois. She met her husband Doug, while attending the University of Illinois. They moved to California in 1993. After spending many years traveling and working overseas, they decided to make California their home and start their family. They have 4 children and enjoy camping, hiking, biking, and snowboarding together.
