Top Ten Ways to Use the SWCurrent
1. UPDATE YOUR PERSONAL AND FAMILY CONTACT INFORMATION.
Click MY PROFILE › EDIT PROFILE › BASIC
Edit your phone number, email, address, and other basic information. Edit it once, and every group you belong to will have your current information.
2. UPDATE YOUR PRIVACY SETTINGS.
Click MY SETTINGS › PRIVACY SETTINGS
We value your privacy and treat your information with the utmost care. It’s easy to select the information you want (and don’t want) to share with others at swcurrent.org.
3. SELECT YOUR COMMUNICATION PREFERENCES.
Click MY SETTINGS › COMMUNICATION SETTINGS
You have the option of choosing how people in your groups communicate with you. Choose to receive text messages, a weekly summary of group activity, and emails from other members in your groups.
4. SET UP YOUR PERSONAL FIT.
Click MY PROFILE › EDIT PROFILE › MY FIT
Tell us how you’re SHAPED! Introvert or extrovert? Feeler or thinker? We’ll match you to volunteer positions and opportunities in the church family. Need help figuring out your SHAPE? Take Discovery 301!
5. COMMUNICATE WITH CHILDREN’S LEADERS
Click FAMILY › CHILD › EDIT PROFILE › ALLERGY/SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Communicate with us if your child has allergies, specific needs, or special instructions.
6. BROWSE SOUTHWINDS’ EVENTS AND SCHEDULES.

Stay up to date with your church family activities.
7. SET UP RECURRING GIFTS.

Southwinds accepts online contributions. Giving via swcurrent.org is easy, and you can be confident that your financial information is safe and secure. You can make a one-time contribution, or you can set it up to repeat on a schedule. There is no charge to use this service. You’ll also be able to download your latest financial statements at any time!
8. FIND GROUPS TO JOIN.
Click GROUPS › BROWSE GROUPS
The architecture of swcurrent.org is built on Southwinds’ groups. A group can be a small group, a ministry, a Discovery Class, a leadership team, or a serving group. You can join any group that’s open to all. Some groups require you to request membership, so click “Request to Join.”
9. REGISTER AND PAY ONLINE FOR TRIPS AND EVENTS.

Sign up for camps, retreats, conferences, and other special events.
10. BROWSE OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE IN THE CHURCH.
